Sirdar has just released two fabulous new Sublime baby knitting pattern books - The fifth and sixth little sublime knitting books. These patterns are designed for the Sublime baby cashmere merino silk DK (8ply) yarn. The two books are available now and the yarn will be in stock from the 19th of May.

We are introducing baby knitting kits to our shopping cart this season starting with the Posh pink shoes knitting kit and the Vintage Duffle knitting kit (picture below). The kits come in a variety of options with all kits offering our knitters at least 10% off the price of the pattern book. Changes to our website

We have made some changes to our website to help enhance your experience at The Thread Room. The first is a new home page design to make it easier for you find our most recent designs and yarns. We have also added a few new currencies so that you can now shop in US Dollars, British Pounds and Euros in addition to Australian Dollars. We recently introduced flat rate $8 Australia wide shipping. We no longer offer express post as a shipping option. However, all Australian orders over $100 will be sent via express post.

Our upgraded software also makes it simple to share a page with your friends via email, Twitter, Facebook and several other social networking sites. The Thread Room has also just started our own Facebook and Twitter pages where we will post more regular news about designs we are working on and other news aroung the knitting, crochet and felting circuits. Watch out for our new Knitting and Crochet How to videos coming soon....
